Membership Eligibility
National NSSLHA membership is available to students:
- In part- or full-time undergraduate and graduate CSD programs
- Pursuing audiology or speech-language pathology assistant degrees
- Pursuing a doctorate of philosophy or doctorate of audiology degree
- Enrolled in CSD programs outside of the United States
Note: When applying for National NSSLHA membership, students are required to provide current academic degree information.
Ineligibility
National NSSLHA membership is not available to students who:
- Have applied for or received the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Have been barred, removed, or expelled from an academic program as a result of illegal conduct
- Have been a member of National NSSLHA for more than 10 years
