Application Steps
Confirm Your Chapter Advisor's Eligibility
All nominees must be an ASHA Certified member, be the advisor or co-advisor of an affiliated NSSLHA chapter, and may not have received the award in the past 3 years.
For the Making Waves Chapter Advisor Award, the nominee must be the affiliated NSSLHA chapter advisor for less than 5 years as of the nomination date.
For the Continued Commitment Chapter Advisor Award, the nominee must be the affiliated NSSLHA chapter advisor for more than 5 years as of the nomination date.
Submit Your Nomination by March 31, 2025
Applications open January 1, 2025 and are due March 31, 2025.
Submissions Reviewed by the National NSSLHA Office
All nominations will be reviewed by the National NSSLHA office to confirm eligibility.
Applications Reviewed by the Executive Council
The Executive Council will review eligible applications and select one recipient for each award.
Notification
Recipients will be notified and recognized in early May 2025. Recognition includes a plaque and mention on the National NSSLHA website.
