Executive Council members in attendance were President Teffany Ventura, President-Elect Jordan Girola, Vice President for Finance Kevin Kock, Vice President for Planning Alison Dungca, Vice President for Academic Affairs Chelsea Woodard, Vice President for Student State Officers (SLP) Aya Khalil, Vice President for Student State Officers (AuD) Adrienne Graves, Vice President for Government Affairs and Public Policy Natalie Sfeir, Vice President for Audiology Programming Brandon Roppel, Vice President for Speech-Language Pathology Programming Rebecca Willer, Western Regional Councilor Leilani Melendrez, Central Regional Councilor Kayle Genzel, Northestern Regional Councilor Jennifer Blake, Southern Regional Councilor Melissa Schenley, NSSLHA National Advisor Sonja Pruitt-Lord and the 2020-2023 NSSLHA National Advisor Kia Johnson.

Opening Remarks
The Fall 2019 NSSLHA EC business meeting was called to order at 8:05 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019, by President Teffany Ventura.
Convention Feedback
Teffany Ventura led a discussion about NSSLHA activities at this year’s Convention. Each EC and RC member shared feedback and suggested areas for improvement for next year.
Strategic Planning
The NSSLHA EC and RC met on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, to initiate the 2020-2022 NSSLHA Strategic Plan, which is scheduled for completion at the Spring 2020 EC meeting.
ASHA 2020 Convention Co-Chairs Update
The 2020 Convention Co-Chairs, Mark Deruiter and Edie Hapner, joined the meeting to share plans for the 2020 Convention in San Diego, California, and led a discussion about involving students.
ASHA Presidential Team Update
ASHA President Shari Robertson, ASHA President-Elect Theresa Rodgers, ASHA Past President Elise Davis-McFarland, and ASHA Chief Executive Officer Arlene Pietranton joined the meeting to discuss current activities at ASHA.
